是迄今為止最大的學術比較名單,包括了全球1,250多所研究型大學。

摘要:

許多著名的美國大學仍主導了前100最高是斯坦福大學(Stanford),麻省理工(MIT)排第4,加州理工學 (CalTech)排第5

北京清華大學超越新加坡國立大學列為亞洲第一 (上升8位至第22)

香港大學排36,六年來表現最佳

美國仍然佔據榜上最多學教,日本则首次超越英國成為第二,擁有103所大學,而英國有89位。印度有49所印度大學。

儘管美國和英國的機構仍然佔據主導地位,但中國和日本的大學正在慢慢爬上世界大學排名榜。
