The Phelps School is dedicated to a personalized education for the boy who seeks success academically, personally, and socially. The first obligation is to create a caring, sensitive climate which emphasizes the positive in every situation. The student's educational program is planned in terms of his individual capacity, ability, needs and interests. This philosophy of dedication to the total development of each boy is accentuated by the disciplined atmosphere, small classes, and daily tutorial support. Located just 22 miles west of Philadelphia, PA, the safe, 75-acre campus houses 110 students. The diverse population includes students from 10 US states and 20 different countries. Academics are emphasized by caring and dedicated faculty members, small classes, afternoon tutorials, and evening study programs. The ESL program addresses the needs of and provides support for international students. The academic program is balanced by an interscholastic athletic program which affords every student an opportunity to participate on a sports team.
