Features

Millikin University is a small private institution in Decatur, IL. Founded in 1901 it still has remaining ties to the Presbyterian Church. The school’s most popular majors include Biology, Business, Education, Music, Nursing and Theater.

Millikin University’s approach to education is based on theory and practice, requiring students to learn inside and outside of the classroom. The “Performance-Learning” approach has students demonstrate their learning by working with real companies, and on real projects to better prepare Millikin students for life after graduation.

Millikin’s Center for Entrepreneurship encourages business students to take part in internships or participate in student-run businesses such as the publication, record label or art gallery.
